Nigel Waters

Privacy experience

Since 1997 full time consulting on compliance with privacy laws to government agencies and businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and the United States.   Prior to 1997, twelve years experience at senior executive level of designing and implementing data protection and privacy laws: as Deputy Australian Federal Privacy Commissioner, 1989-97 as Assistant Data Protection Registrar, UK, 1985-89 as adviser to authorities in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Europe
